Small Green Bathroom Design

Two gorgeous green bathroom design ideas

If you're considering a green bathroom vanity, you're in the right place. A green vanity is bold, timeless, and incredibly versatile as a neutral—making it the perfect statement piece for any bathroom makeover. I’m sharing two bathroom design ideas that showcase how you can style the same green vanity in totally different but equally beautiful ways.

When we moved into our current house last summer, I knew the bathrooms needed remodeled. The hall bathroom had hardwoods—I mean, it’s better than carpet, but not by much, ha! The hardwood floor near the shower had warped from repeated water exposure and it needed to be replaced. The vanity was too dark for me and the fixtures needed updating.

Here’s what we were working with. Real life styling right here with kids toys, clothes, and cat food on the counter (so the dog wont eat it).

I found this green vanity and knew it was what I wanted to design the bathroom around.

Green Vanity from Wayfair

Option 1: Bold & Botanical Bathroom Design

Hexagon tile: Lowe’s Green Vanity: Wayfair Mirror: West Elm Wallpaper: The Painted Paper

If you're a fan of color, pattern, and a touch of whimsy, this moody botanical bathroom design is for you. At the heart of the space is the deep green vanity with clean lines, brass hardware, and a white stone top. It’s classic, yet full of character.

To complement the vanity, I chose a dramatic botanical wallpaper featuring birds, flowers, and rich green foliage. This wallpaper brings the walls to life and adds a boutique hotel feel to the space. The large-scale neutral hexagon floor tile grounds the look and balances the bold pattern. The oval wood framed mirror introduces warmth and texture, echoing natural elements found in the wallpaper.

Option 2: Classic & Sophisticated Bathroom Makeover

Floor tile: Lowe’s Vanity: Wayfair Mirror: West Elm Paint: Sherwin Williams, Shiitake

If you prefer a more timeless, neutral look, this sophisticated bathroom design might be your perfect match. The same green vanity takes center stage, but the supporting elements are softer and more subdued for a clean, calming effect.

For the flooring, I used a subtle geometric tile that look like flower. It adds interest without overpowering the space. The walls are painted in Sherwin-Williams Shiitake (SW 9173)—a warm, taupe-gray neutral that pairs effortlessly with both the green vanity and brass hardware. The wood-framed mirror stays, offering consistency and a touch of natural texture.

Why Choose a Green Vanity?

A green vanity works well in many design styles—from traditional to modern farmhouse, from maximalist to minimalist. It brings a pop of color without being overwhelming and pairs beautifully with natural wood, brass, marble, and a wide range of wall colors or wallpapers.

Whether you're planning a full bathroom renovation or just looking to refresh your space, starting with a green vanity bathroom design opens up a world of creative possibilities.
