Paducah Life
Home, Design, and Everything In Between

HelloI’M SO GLAD YOU FOUND ME
I purchased my first home, a serious fixer upper, in my early 20s and remodeled the entire house top to bottom. That started my lifelong obsession with homes and design. Whether it's a charming historic home or a sleek modern masterpiece, I love diving into the details that make a place unique. My favorite kind of home is still a fixer upper, and I have a knack for seeing the potential in a space and making it work for real life.
I grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee, a beautiful suburb just south of Nashville, where my husband and I bought and remodeled our first fixer upper before selling it in 2021. From there we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, just long enough to transform an amazing mid-century modern split level. In 2024, our desire to be near family brought us to Paducah, where my husband grew up. We've put down roots here with our three boys, and this community has quickly become home.
By profession, I'm a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years in nursing. I'm the founder of True Care Navigation, where I help people make sense of the healthcare system and get the care they need. I also homeschool one of our boys, which means my days are a mix of patient care and lesson plans.
Quilt City Living is where all of that comes together: homes, design, family life, and everything I'm discovering about Paducah along the way. Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to connect and share my love for this town with you!
Warmest regards,
Jessica Rousseau
